The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it is alarmed in regards to the significant range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional status sassa office dedicated to service the area each day. The assistance point designed for intervention experiences a large inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to permit the more info servicing of all customers and boost usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
